One gas burner installed beneath a solid cast iron top, serving as the heat source
for the entire cast iron surface.The cast iron plaque becomes the cooking center
and offers variable heat zones with the strongest heat in the center, directly above
the burner, and diffusing outwards. Allows for multiple sauce pans above a single
indirect heat source.

iron grate. Ideal for oversized sauce pans, searing, sautéing, and high heat cooking.

REVERSIBLE GRIDDLE
Linear gas burner running front-to-back set beneath a solid reversible cast aluminum
plate.One side is grooved for paninis and the other is smooth for pancakes or grilled

Château Series Ranges & Cooktops
Each Château range and cooktop is made by hand in the La Cornue atelier in France. Each piece
is a unique custom creation, built with a specific owner in mind. Ranges are built to a standard height
of 920 mm/36 inches with an adjustable height of +/- ¾ inches. Custom heights are available by quote.

Extended Cooktop: For a unique continuous cooktop work surface, the Stainless Steel cooktop frame may be extended
laterally. Maximum total length of 2300 mm/ 90 inches includes specified range. Price to quote.
Black Enameled Plaque: The signature cast iron top with an enamel coating.Note that over time this coating may become
stained or chip.No charge if ordered with stove.
Flushed Backsplash (additional charge): Ideal for island applications, this may be ordered in 100 mm depth (Total Depth
700 mm) or 135 mm depth (Total Depth 735 mm). $600. Note that the standard backsplash is raised 2" above the cooktop frame.
Black Toe Kick: Stainless Steel Toe Kick may be substituted for glossy Black Toe Kick; no charge if ordered with stove.
Copper Toe Kick: Copper Toe Kicks are available for ranges and cabinets for an upcharge. Price to quote.
