 Good name brand batteries make less noise, which reduces the chance of RF
(radio frequency) interference from the battery compartment.
Digital Clock Factory Restart
Explanation: The factory restart returns the digital clock to an “out-of-the-box”
state and often resolves an issue.
Factory Restart:
1. Remove all batteries from the digital clock.
2. Press one of the buttons on the digital clock at least 20 times to clear all
memory.
3. Verify that the digital clock is blank before proceeding (some lines are painted
on and will not disappear).
4. Leave without power for 15 minutes (very important).
5. Insert fresh Alkaline batteries into the digital clock.
6. Do not press buttons for 15 minutes.
Manually Set Time/Date: Program Menu
• There are five function keys located on the reverse of the unit: SET, ALARM,
• +(PLUS), -F/C, and SNOOZE.
• Begin by holding the SET button until the display flashes.
• Press and release the SET button after each step.
• Press and release the PLUS button to change a value.
1. 12/24-HOUR TIME MODE: Either 12or 24 will flash on the display. Use the
PLUS or -/F/C button to change from 12-hour to 24-hour time. Press and
release the SET button once.
2. HOUR: The Hour will flash. Use PLUS or -/F/C button to set the Hour. If using
12-hour Time Mode, be sure to set the Hour for am or pm. Press and release
the SET button once.
3. MINUTES: The Minutes will flash. Use the PLUS or -/F/C button to set the
Minutes. Press and release the SET Button once.
4. YEAR: The Year will flash. Use the PLUS or -/F/C button to set the Year. Press
and release the SET button once.
5. MONTH: The Month will flash. Use the PLUS or -/F/C button to set the
Month. Press and release the SET button once.
6. DATE: The Date will flash. Use the PLUS or -/F/C button to set the Date
correctly.
NOTE: Day of Week will automatically set. Press and release the SET Button
once.
Set Time Alarm
1. HOUR: Press and hold down the ALARM button for 2 seconds until the Hours
flash. Use the PLUS or -/F/C buttons to set the Hour. Press ALARM button to
confirm the setting
2. MINUTES: The Minute display of the Alarm time starts to flash. Use the PLUS or
-/F/C button to set the required minute. Press ALARM button to confirm the
setting and to end the setting procedure.
Activate/Deactivate Time Alarm
 Briefly press the ALARM button once.
