The LAARS Gateway LER and RER Startup Guide LAARS Gateway Startup Guide 1 Page 5 of 32 INTRODUCTION The LAARS Gateway is an external, high performance Building Automation multi-protocol gateway that has been 1 preprogrammed for LAARS’ Mascot II, NeoTherm, and NeoTherm LC to support BACnet® MS/TP, BACnet/IP, 2 3 Metasys® N2 by JCI, Modbus TCP, and LonWorks® . Configurations for the various protocols are stored within the Gateway and are selectable via DIP switches for fast and easy installation.

Record the information about the unit. (See Section 2.2) 2. Configure each Mascot II, NeoTherm, and NeoTherm LC Modbus node address for each LAARS controller connected to the Gateway. The first node must start at 1 and go up to 8; if you have a total of 8 LAARS boilers controls connected to the Gateway. (See Appendix B.
