10.4. Analog inputs (Tesira analog version only)
Four analog inputs are available on terminal block connections with clearly marked hot (+), cold (-) and ground
terminals. All inputs are balanced mic or line level input with selectable +48 V phantom power and digitally
controlled input gain. Maximum input and digital reference is +24 dBu and input impedance is 8 k ohm. Sampling
rate is 48 kHz with 24 bit resolution.
The analog inputs can either be used as local inputs to a Tesira AVB system, or as analog failover in case of AVB
network failure.
10.4.1. Analog Failover
Programming of analog failover is set in Tesira software during system conguration. In the Initialization dialog
box, check the Analog Failover box in the Lab.gruppen Amplier Initialization dialog. See Section 13 (System
Setup tutorial) step 4. Also double-check routing of failover channel to output channel in the amplier block DSP
properties, Failover input channel. In the event of the amplier detecting loss of the AVB stream, the amplier
output will failover and take its signal from the local analog inputs according to the Failover input channel routing.
NOTE: In the event of a network failure with amp failover to analog inputs, followed by a power outage,
the amplier will not be able to start up using the analog inputs. The amp requires network connection
to the server to restore settings and continue operation.
10.4.2. Local Analog Inputs
To utilize the analog inputs as local inputs to the AVB network (for connection to blocks in Tesira system), add a
Four Channel Analog Input block to the work area and set the equipment type to Lab.gruppen Amplier. This will
allow the analog audio from the amplier to be streamed to a Tesira SERVER, Server IO or Tesira FORTÉ device for
further processing.
10.5. Mains connector
Detachable Neutrik powerCON. Connector is rated for 250V/32A. For more information on AC mains connection
please refer to Section 6.4.
