As with all Dante devices, Multicast ows are automatically set to a minimum of 1 ms. If a transmitter does
not support the latency set on the receiver (i.e. it can’t guarantee delivery within the required latency), Dante
will increase the latency to the lowest setting supported by the transmitter.
For supported devices, it is possible to see a Latency tab in Dante Controller displaying histograms of audio
packet latency for each transmitter that the device is subscribed to.
8.2.5.2 Receive Tab
To congure the Dante Receivers for the selected device, tap the RECEIVE tab and assign channels from
another Dante device which will be used as inputs for this device.
To assign Dante Receive channels to a device:
1. Tap the RECEIVE tab
2. Select a device from the DEVICES scrollbar
3. Tap a channel on the Channels scrollbar then place the selected channel in a Receiver location at the top
of the screen.
This parameter is synchronized between the Lake Controller and the Dante Controller. All Dante receive
congurations (subscriptions) can also be done in Dante Controller. Starting subscriptions on AES67 chan-
nels can only be done from Dante Controller. It is however possible to see the AES67 transmitter device in
Lake Controller, but it is not possible to do the actual subscription.
Once a AES67 subscription is done (from Dante Controller), it is possible to see the active subscription in
the Dante Receiver in Lake Controller.
Active AES67 subscriptions in the Dante Receivers can also be removed or replaced with Dante Subscrip-
tions from Lake Controller.
Channels that cannot be subscribed to due to
sample rate differences or other reasons are
displayed greyed out after those which can be
subscribed.
When Dante is locked for the receiving channel, an
asterisk * is shown next to the Receiver number
as shown in Figure 8-13.
