Modules Menu Reference
8.2.10.2 Front Panel Enable (D Series only)
If Front Panel Enable is ON (orange), the front panel conguration functionality on the device will be active;
this functionality will be disabled if this button is OFF (blue).
This hardware parameter is unaffected by SYSTEM RECALL,
FRAME REPLACE, FRAME PRESET RECALL or FRAME
CONFIGURATION and SOFT RESET options. It can changed
only via this screen and via a front panel Factory Reset.
8.2.10.3 Dante Slave Only (not applicable for MY8-LAKE)
If Dante Slave Only is Enabled, the device can only operate as a slave to the Dante network, and will not
be part of the Dante Clock Master selection process. It is recommended that this setting is enabled for all
devices unless the device is specically required to be part of the Dante Clock Master selection process.
This setting is enabled (ON) by default for Lake-enabled ampliers and disabled (OFF) by default for LM
Series devices. When running a Dante Dual Redundant system, it is recommended to have a few (2-6)
Lake-enabled ampliers with Dante Slave Only disabled.
This hardware parameter is unaffected by SYSTEM RECALL,
FRAME REPLACE, FRAME PRESET RECALL or FRAME
CONFIGURATION and SOFT RESET options. It can be changed
only via this screen and via a front panel Factory Reset.
8.2.10.4 Dual Redundancy (not applicable for MY8-LAKE)
This option activates dual redundant network capabilities for Lake Controller data and Dante audio. For PLM
and LM Series devices (and default for PLM+ and D Series), the secondary Ethernet port has an IP address
in the 172.31.x.x range. For D Series and PLM+, the Secondary IP address for Dante can be congured
manually. The power must be cycled on the Lake device to complete the change.
The Dual Redundancy option can also be viewed and changed for all devices (except MY8-LAKE) via the
Global Control Tab.
This hardware parameter is unaffected by SYSTEM RECALL,
FRAME REPLACE, FRAME PRESET RECALL or FRAME
CONFIGURATION and SOFT RESET options.
This value can only be changed via the Technical Data screen, Global Control Tab, or via a the Factory Reset
option from the device front panel.
