Starting module label: 80deg| Rack1:1
Name of Module le being recalled: 120deg

Module label displayed on work area after recall: 120deg Rack1:1
Table 8-5: TExample with only Sufx (one pipe characters used in label)
On the work area module label, the pipe character itself is hidden. The on-screen displayed keyboard will
highlight when the Dynamic Module Label is enabled, and it will:
Display the persisted text in white
Display the overwritten text in blue
When storing a Module le from a Module where Dynamic Module Label is used, the Store dialog will only
suggest the part of the name that is part of neither Prex nor Sufx.
Double pipe characters (||) will not control the Dynamic Module Label and are instead displayed as a single
pipe character on work area.
If a system le stored in v6.8 or earlier contains module labels that contain pipe character in the name, these
will be replaced with (i.e. converted to) double pipe characters in the label so that they are displayed as
before and not treated as Dynamic Module Labels.
8.3.2 Frame Label
The Frame label is a ten-character user-dened value that appears on the Module icon and on the front
panel of the device. The Frame label associates the Module icons with a Lake device.
To label a Frame:
1. Tap any Module of the Frame you wish to label.
2. Tap FRAME LABEL, enter a Frame name, and tap OK.
When a Frame consists of multiple Modules,
labelling the Frame via one Module automatically
updates the Frame label on any associated Module
icons.
