19.4.3.6 FIR Import/Export (XP Modules Only)
The XP module offers FIR import/export. On the Output FIR row, tap the (Menu bar) cell in the output row
and then the FIR IMPORT/EXPORT button on the menu will be enabled. Import or export the FIR le. The
FIR le requires a .r le extension with one FIR tap on each row, up to 384 taps can be imported.
19.4.4 HPF/LPF - Design (Mesa EQ Only)
Crossovers, EQ, and All Pass lters are not available on the Mesa EQ HPF/LPF - DESIGN screen. The same
HPF/LPF types are available for Mesa EQ as listed in Table 19-2.
19.4.5 Levels - Design
The data on the LEVELS - DESIGN worksheet is entered by typing the appropriate numerical value into a cell
on the worksheet. An error message will be displayed if the value is invalid or incorrect.
To set polarity through the LEVELS - DESIGN worksheet, enter either + (positive) or – (negative) in the
polarity eld. The polarity of each output can be independently locked using the LOCK POLARITY? eld,
which is only available via this worksheet.
To lock polarity of an output, change the value in the associated LOCK POLARITY? eld to Y. The example
Module in Figure 19-16 has the polarity of all channels locked except for the input and lowest output.
