Global Events and Control
23.2.11 Show Global Status Indicator
This turns on or off if an indicator that appears in the bottom-right corner in any view if a Module goes ofine, or
if there is a fault/warning present. Faults will be represented with a red light, and warnings with a yellow light.
It is possible to click on the bottom right indicator when present and that will open up the Global Event log
where, in many cases, it is possible to see why the light is on. This feature was previously available under
ICON CONTROL.
23.2.12 Global IP Conguration
Two buttons, Auto and DHCP, make it possible to globally congure all devices in the system to either
Auto (Zero Cong) or DHCP/Auto IP Conguration. These are the same options as available from the
I/O CONFIG Technical Data menu. There is no option to globally congure Fixed IP settings.
There is also a status counter summarizing what is currently congured in the system.
23.3 Array Opt (XP Modules only)
23.3.1 System Information
The Global Array Optimization tab offers an overview of the complete system for all outputs that have Array
Optimization Capable and if an Array Optimization is present or not. This view will also indicate if there is any
inconsistency. If anything looks interesting, press the cell and the Frame and Module label will be displayed
to help with any troubleshooting.
23.3.2 Array Optimization Control
From this view is it possible to:
“Insert ALL” Array Optimization
“Bypass ALL” Array Optimization
Clear ALL” Array Optimization
This can only be controlled on a complete system level, and it is not possible to control it on a Module
level. These controls will act on all XP modules in the system that has Array Optimization Capable enabled.
Array Optimization Capable/Not Capable is controlled from the Array Opt button in the XP Signal ow on
I/O CONFIG view.
