RECALL COMPARE does not overwrite any data in
the device. Audio will not be changed until you tap
the button labeled USE DATA IN CONTROLLER.
7.6 Recall as Virtual Sub System (SS)
The RECALL AS VIRTUAL SS button enables you to work on a system le when no physical units are
connected. All Frames are seen as virtual. Once the system has been designed, the Virtual Frames can be
replaced by physical Frames.
This function adds the Modules, Super Modules and Groups from the selected le to the current system
conguration as virtual Modules.
The button will read RECALL AS VIRTUAL SS on screen resolutions of 1024 x 768 or less; the full label
RECALL AS VIRTUAL SUB SYSTEM will be displayed on higher resolution screens.
When recalling a Dante-congured system as a Virtual Sub System, all
devices receive new default Dante Device names to ensure no conicts
occur if the same system is recalled multiple times. Dante receivers will
subscribe to the same Dante channels prior to the virtual recall.
