18.4 Function Reference
This section details each function of the analyzer functionality available via the Lake Controller software. The
Analyzer submenu provides access to enter the three types of measurement mode: Spectrum, Spectro-
graph, and Transfer functions. The following sections explain these modes and their functions.
18.4.1 Global Control Functions
The following functions affect the overall operation of the third-party analyzer. These functions are provided
on the button bar of the toplevel interface of the Analyzer submenu.

18 .4.1.1 Pause
This command pauses the analyzer in all modes of operation, and the last measurement trace remains
frozen on the screen. Pause is a toggle command; to resume the analyzer tap the Pause button again.
18 .4.1.2 Signal Generator
Tapping this button turns the analyzer’s signal generator on or off. When the button is selected (orange), the
Signal Generator is turned on. Use the third-party analyzer software interface to select the type of gener-
ated signal or to adjust the signal generator gain.
18 .4.1.3 Measurement Selection
Tapping this button displays a scrollbar displaying available measurement congurations that have been
pre-congured in your third-party software analyzer.
18.4.2 Spectrum RTA Measurement Mode
The SPECTRUM real‐time analyzer (RTA) display provides real‐time spectrum analyzer functionality. This
display plots the spectrum (magnitude values by frequency) of the channel selected for measurement via
the third-party analyzer software. The SPECTRUM RTA plot assigns magnitude to the (vertical) yaxis and
frequency to the (horizontal) x-axis.
When the SPECTRUM button is selected, the Lake Controller will show the SPECTRUM display on EQ and
Auxiliary Overlays.
