Lake Controller Operation Manual Rev 1.5.4
LM Series Reference and Operation
269
When connecting the Input Router signal directly to an output
(bypassing the Module processing), the Input Router Mutes do
not have any affect on the signal path. Please refer to the signal
ow diagrams in Figure 21-1 and Figure 21-2.
21.2 GPIO Conguration
General Purpose Input/Output control (GPIO), allows external devices such as alarm systems to interface
with the LM Series devices and control basic functions including mute, preset recall and standby/power
control. The LM Series device can report the current state of protective mute and standby settings to an
external system and also advise if a fault or warning occurs.
Please refer to section 8.2.3 on page 126 for further details, and also refer to the LM Series Operation Manual
for GPIO technical reference and front panel functionality.
21.3 Remote Power Control & Event Logs
In addition to the common Lake Controller screens available for all Lake devices, the LM Series devices have
additional Events & Control tabs available by navigating to EVENTS & CONTROL as described in section
21.3.1.
The Control tab provides the ability to remotely control the power/standby state of the LM Series device.
Please refer to section 21.3.2 for further details.
The Event tab provides information on frame activity along with all faults and warnings that occur on the LM
Series device. Please refer to sections 21.3.7 for further details.
21. 3.1 Navigation
The Events and Control screens are accessed as described in the following sections, depending on whether
a Module, Super Module or Global View is required. Two tabs are displayed at the top of the screen in each
case, distinguished by the words MODULE, SUPER MODULE or GLOBAL as shown in Figure 21-4, Figure
21-5 and Figure 21-6.
Module View displays Events relating to the selected Module/Frame, and provides Power Control for
that Frame only via the Control tab.
Super Module View displays Events relating to all Modules/Frames that are assigned to the selected
Super Module, and provides power control for those Frames.
Global View displays Events relating to all devices in the current system conguration, and allows power
control for all devices except MY8-LAKE.
