Lake Controller Operation Manual Rev 1.5.4
Modules Menu Reference
8.2.10.6 IP Address
The Internet protocol (IP) address identies which device is sending or receiving information. The power
must be cycled on the Lake device to complete the change. For PLM+ and D Series devices, there is a
separate Dante module with it’s own IP address.
Both the Lake and Dante IP addresses must be on the same subnet to enable Dante conguration via the
Lake Controller, and to enable full rmware update of both components via the Lake Update Utility. If the IP
Address of the Lake component is set to a xed IP address, it is recommended that the Dante component is
changed to the Lake address + 1.
If the FIXED IP ADDRESS option is selected as described in 8.2.10.5, this eld becomes editable and an IP
Address may be entered manually.
This hardware parameter is unaffected by SYSTEM RECALL,
FRAME REPLACE, FRAME PRESET RECALL or FRAME
CONFIGURATION and SOFT RESET options.
This parameter is changed only via this screen and via the FACTORY RESET option from the front panel of
the device.
8.2.10.7 Subnet Mask
The subnet mask is used for IP address routing; the default setting is 255.255.0.0 when
AUTO - ZERO CONF is selected. The power must be cycled on the Lake device to complete the change.
If the FIXED IP ADDRESS option is selected as described in 8.2.10.5, this eld becomes editable and an
Subnet Mask may be entered manually.
This parameter is unaffected by SYSTEM RECALL, FRAME PRESET RECALL or soft FRAME RESET
options. It is reset only via the FACTORY RESET option from the front panel of the device.
8.2.10.8 ID
The unique Lake device identier.
8.2.10.9 Firmware
The rmware version that is currently running on the selected device.
