Setting up the Printer

This chapter explains the way of installing a tape cartridge, connecting the AC adapter, and installing the battery

(LW-Z5010 Series only).

Installing the Tape Cartridge

Check that the printer is powered off.

Remove any slack in the tape inside the cartridge.

Open the top cover.

CAUTION

• Make sure to turn the printer off when installing a tape cartridge.

• Make sure to use a tape designated by Epson.

• When you replace the tape cartridge, make sure to adjust the half cut depth with a new
