Quick Start Guide
Notice. This is a quick start guide. Follow and
comply with the manual supplied with the device.

Disconnect from mains before opening. Only use
in dry surroundings.

hazard. Disconnect from mains before opening.

1. Connecting / Switching on
Connect to mains Li.LAC boots automatically.
2. Inserting Microphones
1. Turn latch 90°counterclockwise to
unlatch transport lock.
2. Push at the center of the drawer of the
irradiation chamber to open.
3. Place microphones inside the drawer with the
head of the microphone facing the cross bar.
4. Observe correct microphone position!
5. Close the drawer until it clicks into place.
The display shows the main menu and the
selection of disinfection time.
3. Starting the Disinfection
1. Turn the encoder wheel to select disinfection time: 5 or 10 minutes.
For further information on irradiation and radiant exposure see 2.1.4 “Irradiance” in the manual.
2. Press the encoder wheel to start the disinfection.
3. A countdown is shown in the display (selected disinfection time + optional pre-heat time).
4. End of Disinfection
1. The disinfection ends automatically after the selected disinfection time has expired.
2. The display turns green. “Disinfection complete. Open chamber to continue“ is shown in the display.
5. Removing the Microphones
1. Open the drawer of the irradiation chamber by pushing its center.
2. Remove disinfected microphones.
3. Close drawer of the irradiation chamber.
4. Push the center of the irradiation chamber to lock.
Accessories for disinfecting headset or lavalier microphones:
The spiral spring and the cable tray make it possible to disinfect smaller items such as headset or
lavalier microphones inside Li.LAC.
1. Place the cable tray onto the metal grille, magnets facing towards the front of the drawer.
2. Insert the spiral spring in the area of the first cross bar of the metal grille.
3. Fasten the microphone below the capsule inside the spiral spring.
4. Place the microphone cable on the cable tray.
