Do not place the LaCie Hard Disk
near sources of magnetic interfer-
ence, such as computer displays,
televisions or speakers. Magnetic
interference can affect the opera-
tion and stability of your LaCie
Hard Disk.
Do not place heavy objects on top
of the LaCie Hard Disk or use ex-
cessive force on it.
Never use excessive force on your
LaCie Hard Disk. If you detect a
problem, see the Troubleshooting
section in this manual.
CAUTION: A shielded-type
power cord is required in order
to meet FCC emission limits and
also to prevent interference to the
nearby radio and television recep-

supplied power cord be used.
