9.6. Settings: Network

9.6.1. Network Setup: Wired / Wireless

This page will display your LaCinema Mini HD Bridge’s network val-

ues, such as IP address (Fig. 137). To modify these values, click the

Conﬁgure button.

1. Wired/Wireless: Choose whether your network connection is

wired (Ethernet) or wireless (WiFi). Make sure that you have con-

nected the product to your network via Ethernet or WiFi dongle

(sold separately).

2. DHCP/Static IP: Choose DHCP if your device is automatically

assigned an IP address by your router, or static IP if you want to

assign an IP address (Fig. 138).

3. If you chose wired, conﬁguration is complete. If you chose wire-

less:

a. Select Wireless Favorites from the menu.

b. Choose your wireless network and press Connect Now.

c. You can conﬁgure multiple wireless networks from this page.

To set one network as preferred, and therefore the server that

the LaCinema Mini HD Bridge will connect to automatically,

select the network and select the Favorites button.

d. When you see the successful connection icon to the right of

the network listing, you can click the Close button.
