Cables and Connectors You can connect LaCie Rugged Thunderbolt USB-C to your computer using Thunderbolt or USB. Review the connection types below. LaCie Setup Assistant helps you to quickly format the storage device according to your needs. Read the information below if you: Aborted LaCie Setup Assistant while it was formatting. Want to reformat your storage device after successfully formatting the hard drive with LaCie Setup Assistant.
Caution: Formatting erases everything on the storage device. LaCie highly recommends that you back up all data on your storage device before performing the steps below.
