BTLS Victim Injury Set 275-00001 (BTLS-2002) Directions for Use
The Victim Injury Set is specifically designed for training professionals the skills required for Basic Trauma Life Support techniques. As a result of quality construction and the ease of replacing individual parts, this injury set should provide many years of training when reasonable care and maintenance is practiced. Laerdal Recommends: Make-up can be used to add realism. Clean with soap and water. Do not place heavy objects on modules. Concentrate is included to simulate blood.
Wound Modules: Wounds are designed with a Velcro® attachment system for easy application and removal from victim or manikin. In addition to the wound modules, plastic blood splats have been provided to add realism to the scenario and to allow the student to estimate the amount of blood loss. Liquid stage blood of both thick and thin concentration has also been included if more blood simulation is desired.
