• Making telephone calls and carrying out functions while the vehicle is in motion can dis-
tract you from the road.
Making a telephone call


 First read and observe the safety warnings on page 3 and the introductory information
and safety warnings on page 19.
To make a telephone call, the ignition must be switched on and a mobile telephone must be connect-
ed to the PREMIUM mobile telephone provision ⇒ page 10.
You can dial a number by entering it directly, using the telephone book, using a call list, using the
speed dial function or using voice control.
Entering and dialling a number
This cannot be done while the telephone book is displayed.
• In the TELEPHONE menu, select and confirm the menu item Dial. Enter the telephone number you
wish to call.
• Press the ε button on the multifunction steering wheel. This number will be dialled.
Dialling an entry from the telephone book
• In the TELEPHONE menu, select and confirm the menu item Phone book ⇒ page 31.
• Mark and confirm the desired entry in the telephone book. If the entry has more than one number,
select and confirm the number you require.
