A call to the information service will be interrupted if the breakdown call button δ is pressed. The
breakdown service will then be dialled. The same applies if the information service button is pressed
during a call to the breakdown service.
A mobile telephone network must be available to place a call to the information and breakdown
call services. Services might not be available in some countries.

Voice control functions
The following functions can be executed via voice control.
Dial number.
Dial a name from the telephone book without previously recording a voice tag, e.g. “Call Peter
Smith at home”.
Listen to stored SMS text messages being read out.
Listen to the telephone book being read out, either in full or for a certain initial letter.

If an RNS 510 navigation system with voice control is installed, the voice control function of the
mobile telephone provision may be switched off depending on the country. If this is the case, the

An incoming telephone call has priority over voice commands. The voice control function will,
therefore, be deactivated automatically if there is an incoming call.
Ensuring the voice control function works properly
First read and observe the safety warnings on page 3 and the introductory information
on page 23.
Speak at a normal volume without exaggeration or long pauses.
Speak slowly and clearly. Unclear words and numbers, or words in which syllables are mumbled
will not be recognised by the system.
