Note 1: Since a transceiver is setup with both a long and a short address, if long addressing is
being used (short address = 65,534) and a message is being sent to the transceiver with a short
address of 65,534, a RF acknowledgement will be sent by the MAC.

: Since a transceiver is setup with both a long and a short address, if short addressing is
being used (short address not equal to 65,534) and a message is being sent to the transceiver
with a long address that matches the transceiver’s long address, a RF acknowledgement will be
sent by the MAC.
