The frame material forms the walls of the enclosure and the cover is held securely in place by spring force alone. Covers can be easily removed and replaced to provide access to components.

These patented shields have a solid top, scored to allow peel-off when access to board level components within the shield is required. The peel-off feature prevents damage to the board and components by eliminating the need for labor intensive de-soldering, which often results in increased scrap.
