Concremix CB1799
Description:
Concremix CB 1799 is a 100% acrylic polymer with
23% solids, designed for use as a concrete
bonding agent and admixture for cement based
materials and mixes. This acrylic polymer will
significantly improve adhesion and cohesion as
well as tensile, compressive, flexural and properties
of cement based mixtures. Concremix CB1799 will
never re-emulsify when exposed to water. It will also
improve freeze/thaw stability of Portland cement
based products.

Use:
Used to be added to mixing water for
preparation of Portland cement mix to be used
to repair holes, voids and weakened areas of a
concrete surface. For concrete repair, patching,
structural repairs and floor toppings.
Mixing Ratio:
Always mix mechanically while being careful
to avoid high speeds. Do not over mix.

Surface Preparation:
All surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry
and free of contaminants such as dust, sand,
oil and grease films.

Product Information:
Storage: Protect from freezing; store in a cool,
dry place at room temperature. Product must
be used within one year of purchase.
Mixing: Always mix thoroughly by hand or
with a power agitator before application.
Cleanup: Clean all equipment immediately after
use with warm soapy water. Completely flush
all spray equipment with this solution.
Application Method:
As admixture to increase adhesion:
1. Thoroughly mix all cement and sand first. Sa
nd must
clean, free of clay and dry.
2. In a clean bucket, pre-mix CB1799 with clean
water, depending upon desired mixing ration.
3. Slowly add the pre-mixed CB1799 solution to the
cement / sand mixture and mix these together for 1-2
minutes to avoid entrapping air.
4. Using a good quality brush, apply a bond coat of the
cement / sand and CB1799 mixture to the entire surface
to be repaired, patch or covered with concrete plaster.
Mix vigorously into the surface to eliminate any air pockets.
5. Apply the mix you have prepared to the surface
while the bond coat is still wet or tacky. Maximum time for
placement should not exceed 20 minutes. Higher
air or surface temperature will decrease placement
time. Avoid over-troweling. The trowel being used
should be cleaned frequently, Kept wet and used with
minimal pressure.

Use only with adequate ventilation. Ventilation
