If you see, smell or hear the hiss of escaping gas from the propane cylinder, do as follows: A) Disconnect propane gas cylinder. B) Do not attempt to correct the problem yourself.

Assembly time: 20 minutes ORIFICE OPENING K A PULSE IGNITER MODULE AA BATTERY FLEXIBLE FUEL LINE END CAP PROPANE FUEL HOSE WITH REGULATOR STEP 2 K R L STEP STEP 1: ATTACH THE FLEXIBLE FUEL LINE ! CAUTION !! Do not turn the front side down or the control knob stem will be damaged. 1 Very carefully turn the fireplace on the side so the underside of the stone base is accessible.

PAGE 5 GRANDVIEW FIREPLACE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS B D D P STEP 3: ASSEMBLE THE PILLARS TO THE TOP Assemble the (4) pillars [ D ] to the top [ B ] as shown. Align holes and assemble with (4) M6 x 10MM bolts [ P ]. Tighten securely. STEP 3 D STEP P STEP 4: ASSEMBLE THE PILLARS AND TOP TO THE BASE 4 D Assemble the pillars [ D ] to the stone base [ A ] using (4) M6 x 10MM bolts [ P ]. Hand tighten the bolts only at this time. A DO NOT RETURN PRODUCT TO THE STORE.

GRANDVIEW FIREPLACE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS PAGE 6 C STEP 5: ASSEMBLE THE FIREBOX PANELS Assemble the (4) firebox panels [ C ] to the pillars [ D ] by aligning the pins on the pillars with the hole / slot on the panel. Once aligned the panel will slide down and lock in place. When all panels are assembled, tighten the bolts in the previous STEP 4 securely. STEP HOLE / SLOT 5 PIN D STEP 6: PLACE LAVA ROCKS ! CAUTION !! The lava rocks can be sharp and abrasive, use gloves if necessary.

PAGE 7 ! WARNING !! The propane fuel tank must be kept a minimum of 36 in from the outdoor fireplace. 20 LB. PROPANE FUEL TANK REGULATOR ! PLEASE NOTE !! A flat, noncombustible surface must be used. Keep in mind the propane fuel tank must be placed as far away from the fireplace as possible. A suitable route must be made for the hose between the propane tank and the fireplace that will pose the least risk for a tripping hazard.

PAGE 8 ! Keep the side ventilation slots clear. Do not block or obstruct the slots in any way. Do not use on grass or any other combustible surface that may block air movement under the fireplace. GRANDVIEW OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ! WARNING ! This fireplace becomes very hot especially the top. Use caution around the fireplace. Keep the fireplace free and clear of combustible materials. 1.

PAGE 9 CARE AND MAINTENANCE • BEFORE EACH USE, VISUALLY INSPECT ALL PARTS TO INSURE THEY ARE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. • TAKE CARE WHEN MOVING THE FIREPLACE AS THE STONE BASE WILL CHIP OR CRACK OR BREAK IF HANDLED ROUGHLY OR DROPPED. • THE FIREPLACE MAY BE CLEANED WITH A MILD SOAP AND WATER SOLUTION. USE A SOFT RAG, NEVER USE COARSE OR ROUGH MATERIALS. DO NOT ALLOW THE LAVA ROCK, FAUX FIREWOOD OR THE BURNER / COMPONENTS TO BECOME WET. • KEEP THE FIREPLACE OUT OF THE WEATHER AND ELEMENTS.

PAGE 10 TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM GAS ODOR POSSIBLE CAUSE Gas leaking CORRECTIVE MEASURES • Check all gas connections. • Use soapy water solution to determine where leak is coming from. • If leak cannot be found and gas is still smelled, do not try to light any appliance. • Do not touch any electrical switches. • Do not use any phone. • Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbors phone. • If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.
