Installation Instruction Manual

Installation Preparation:

Contact the local building code authority for the applicable post mounting depth requirements

(frost level) in your area. Minimum of 24” is required. Do not excavate near underground utilities

(electric, gas, water, telephone, cable, etc.). Contact Dig Safely at 1-888-258-0808 or visit

When determining installation site, consider adequate set back from driveway, street or entrance

to development to avoid potential damage from vehicle traffic, snow removal equipment, etc.

With installation of multiple columns, consider grade slope when determining mounting height of

columns and level accordingly.

Materials Needed: 4” x 4” Pressure Treated Wood Post, or 4” x 4” Vinyl PVC, Aluminum, Steel Post Bagged concrete mix (apx. 2 80# bags per column) Accent Bond adhesive STEP 2 -(continued) Do NOT over fill hole with concrete above existing soil grade surface (2). Allow post to dry according to concrete mix manufacturer’s recommended cure time. For rapid installation, use a “fast setting” concrete bag mix.

STEP 5 - Attaching Fencing to Column STEP 4B Complete installation by applying Accent Bond™ adhesive on top of column base unit using 3/8” bead. Be careful not to apply bead near outside edge (1). Place cap in position and apply moderate hand pressure to insure bonding (2). Adhesive will 2 start to set in a few hours and will be fully cured in 48 hours. Slide a 1” x 6” deck board or pressure treated lumber through EZ-Mason Bracket.
