Laney products have a heritage which stretches back to 1967 when I first began building valve amplifiers in my parents’ garage.
Introduction The LX15B offers great bass tones from a compact and portable 15W amplifier and is capable of producing some solid bass tones. Housing twin big sounding 5” drivers and 3 band EQ the LX15B produces a nice powerful lo end and hitting the on board SHAPE switch allows you to kick in some serious high mid boost when a bit of slapping and popping is called for.

Front Panel Controls 6 1. Input: This socket should be used for connecting your instrument to the amplifier. Only use a good quality screened cable. 2. Shape: Adds some serious high mid boost when engaged. The switch has more effect at low Volume control settings. Use in conjunction with the Mid Control for optimum performance. 3. Gain: This control is used to set the level of gain present in the pre-amp. The higher the level of gain, the more the signal will clip producing pleasing distortion.

General Notes Amplifier connection: In order to avoid damage, it is advisable to establish and follow a pattern for turning on and off your equipment. With all system parts connected, turn on source equipment, MP3/CD players, etc. BEFORE turning on your guitar amplifier. Similarly when turning off your system always turn down the Volume controls on your guitar amplifier and then turn off its power before turning off other equipment.
