Loading Paper in the Paper
Tray
Load paper in the optional Paper
Feed Unit by following the proce-
dures below.
Reference
With the paper tray, you can load
up to 250 pages and with the op-
tional Paper Feed Unit, you can
load up to 500 pages at the same
time. For more information about
the type, size and feed direction of
paper that can be loaded in the
tray, see p.25 “Paper Types and
Sizes”.
When you change the paper size
see p.38 “Changing the paper
size”.

Lift the paper tray slightly then
pull it out until it stops.

While lifting the front side of the
tray, pull it out of the printer.

Load paper into the tray with the
print side down.
Important
❒ Confirm that the top of the stack
is not higher than the limit mark
inside the tray.
❒ Confirm that paper fits under
the rear guide.
