Network Configuration
The unit’s network values display when you select Network from the main menu. The
following sections describe the configurable parameters on the Network Settings page.

Automatic IP Address Configuration
An IP address can be assigned automatically. You then enter related network settings.
To assign an IP address automatically:
1. On the main menu, click Network.
2. (Wireless units only) From the Network Mode drop-down list, select Wired Only
or Wireless Only to set the unit for wired or wireless use.
3. Select Obtain IP address automatically.
4. Enter the following (as necessary):
BOOTP Select Enable to permit the Bootstrap Protocol (BOOTP)
server to assign the IP address from a pool of addresses
automatically. Enable is the default setting.
DHCP Select Enable to permit the Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol (DHCP) to assign a leased IP address to the XPress
DR+ unit automatically. Enable is the default setting.
