The Y (Yes) option disables remote configuration and web sites.
Note: The Y (Yes) option disables many of the GUI tools for configuring the unit,
including the embedded Web Manager tool.
Disable Web Server
This setting defaults to the N (No) option. The Y (Yes) option disables the web server.
Disable Web Server (N) ? _
Disable Web Setup
The Y (Yes) option disables configuration using the Web Manager. This setting defaults
to the N (No) option.
Disable Web Setup (N) ? _
Disable ECHO Ports
This setting controls whether port 7 echoes characters it receives.
Disable ECHO ports (Y) ? _
Enable Enhanced Password
This setting defaults to the N (No) option, which allows you to set a 4-character password
that protects Setup Mode by means of Telnet and web pages. The Y (Yes) option allows
you to set an extended security password of 16-characters for protecting Telnet and web
page access.
Enable Enhanced Password (Y) ? _
Default Settings (Option 7)
Select 7 to reset the unit’s channel configuration, email settings, and expert settings to
the default settings. The server configuration settings for IP address, gateway IP address,
and netmask remain unchanged. The configurable pins’ settings also remain unchanged.
The specific settings that this option changes are listed below.
