BT-M with bending protection trumpet
Cable gland with trumpet-shaped bending protection for flexible cables
and wires, with metric connection thread in acc. to EN 50262. The supply
cables to electrical appliances and machines, which are moved in normal
used, must be protected against excessive bending, e.g. as per
VDE 0730. This technical requirement is satisfied in the SKINTOP
®
range
by the SKINTOP
®
BT-M or by the SKINTOP
®
BS-M. As with the rest of the
SKINTOP
®
range, the clamping force has a central strain relieving effect
on the entire cable perimeter, this is particularly important for bending
protection.
Components:
Body with fins basket polyamide moulding
Cup nut with bending protection trumpet polyamide moulding
Insert for the fins basket elastomere
Technical feature:
Connecting thread: M16x1.5 up to M25x1.5 in acc. DIN 60 423
Capacity thread: multi start trapezoidal screw
Protections class: IP 68 - 5 bar, test in acc. to EN 60 529
Temperature range: - 20° C up to + 100° C
Colour: RAL 7001
