MS-SC a nickel-plated brass cable gland especially designed for
copper-screened cables is used to achieve a low-resistance screen contact,
strain relief and high protection class.
Skintop MS-SC is not qualified for cases twisting a gland after inserting the cable
(e.g. circular connectors).
The gland make-up consists of:
Gland body nickel-plated brass
Cap nut nickel-plated brass
Insert with lamellas design plastic polyamide-based
Seal insert for lamellas design elastomere
Contact spring tinned Cu Be
O-ring elastomere
Technical features:
Connecting thread: PG 9 up to PG 36 in acc. to DIN 40 430
Functional thread: PG 9 up to PG 36 in acc. to DIN 40 430
IP protection: IP 68 - 5 bar, test in acc. to EN 60 529
Temperature range: - 25° C up to + 100° C
Recommended torque rates in acc. to DIN / VDE 0619
PG 9 – PG 13.5 6.25 Nm
PG16 7.50 Nm
PG 21 – PG 36 10.00 Nm
