Application
ÖLFLEX
SERVO 720 CY cables are screened sensor leads for servo motors. They are among others designed for use in dry,
humid and wet conditions. Outdoor use: They may only be installed with UV protection and considering the temperature
range. At room temperature they are widely resistant to acids, caustic solutions and certain oils. Continuous operational
movements, restricted guidance, usage of these cables in moving cable carriers, respectively on motor drum guidance or
under a strain of more than 15 N/mm² is not allowed. The screen (0 036 170 with drain wire) is a protection against electri-
cal interference.
Application range:
analogue and incremental encoders in servo drives, as well as for measurement, control and electrical application

EC –Directives These cables are conform to the EC-Directives 2011/65/EU (RoHS, Restriction of the
use of certain hazardous substances). As this product is designed for appropriate use in
a voltage range of < 50 V AC resp. < 75 V DC, it is not subject to the Low Voltage Di-
rective 2006/95/EC. Thus the CE marking is not applicable.
