Application
The compensating cable KN 3 L 2 x 1,5 mm² is a glass fibre insulated cable which transmits the thermoelectric
voltage of NiCr/Ni thermocouples. It is for fixed installation in dry rooms and may only be installed outdoors with
UV- and humidity protection and in observation of the max. permitted temperature range.

Conductor 1,5 mm² (48 x 0,20 mm)
Conductor material KCA alloying, accuracy class 2 according DIN 43722
Positive conductor: Fe (iron)
Negative conductor: CuNi (cupronickel)
Core insulation Glass fibre covering
Core identification Positive conductor: red marked
Negative conductor: green marked
Core layering Cores parallel next to each other
Outer sheath Glass fibre braiding with interweaved green identification thread
Electrical properties
Limiting deviation class 2 ± 100 µV (± 2,5 °C) / m easuring point temperature +900 °C
Mechanical and thermal properties
Temperature range occasional flexing: -25 °C up t o +200 °C
Minimum bending radius occasional flexing: 12 x cable diameter
Flammability flame retardant in acc. to IEC 60332-1-2 resp. VDE 0482-332-1-2
