Application

The extension cable KE 9 L-S 2 x 1,5 mm² is a PVC insulated cable which transmits the thermoelectric voltage

of Fe/CuNi thermocouples. It is for flexible use and fixed installation in dry rooms with medium mechanical load.

They may only be installed outdoors with UV- and humidity protection and in observation of the max. permitted

temperature range.The steel wire armouring serves as mechanical protection.

Conductor material JX alloying, accuracy class 2 according IEC 60584

Positive conductor: Fe (iron)

Negative conductor: CuNi (cupronickel)

Core insulation PVC compound

Core identification Positive conductor: black

Negative conductor: white

Core layering Cores twisted together

Outer sheath PVC compound, colour: black

Armouring Galvanized steel wire braiding with interweaved black identification thread

Limiting deviation class 2 ± 140 µV (± 2,5 °C) / m easuring point temperature +500 °C

Mechanical and thermal properties

Temperature range occasional flexing: -5 °C up to +70 °C
