STROBING FUNCTIONS
To change the strobing options, remove the very bottom of the orange/black base by twisting it to the
right. This LED beacon can be operated by pressing the black button next to the cigarette plug port.
Pressing this button once will allow the beacon to strobe constantly.
Pressing this button again will put the beacon in day/night mode. The light will determine when
it is dark and start strobing. (Unit must be on this setting in order to charge the light by solar)
Press the button once more to turn the light off.
MOUNTING
This light can be permanently or magnetically mounted. If you want to mount the base permanently but
would like to be able to remove the light, remove the base by twisting the bottom of the base to the
right, and screw in at the two holes on both sides of the base. Then line up the light and twist it to the
left until it locks in place. The side notch on both the top and bottom of the base should be aligned.
If you would like to mount both the base and the light permanently you can add an additional screw to
the notch on the side of the light and screw that in as well. If you do this you will no longer be able to
access either the switch to change the modes or the place to plug in the cigarette charger.
To magnetically mount the light, twist off the orange base at the bottom and set the light on the steel
surface you want to mount it on. The orange base will not be used if the light is magnetically mounted.
This magnetic mount can be used on a moving vehicle.
CHARGING THE LIGHT
This light is replenished by a solar charging panel or a cigarette plug charger. This LED beacon will
operate 24 hours a day with 5 hours of sunlight. It will also operate for 24 hours with 4 hours of
charging with the cigarette plug. The cigarette plug can be used by removing the bottom part of the
base of the light by twisting the base to the right and pulling off and then plugging the cigarette lighter
into the port next to the “on/off” button.
This unit must be in day/night mode in order for the solar panel to charge by sunlight. It will NOT charge
in the off position or in constant strobe mode.
NOTE: Once the unit is fully discharged and you need to determine what mode the light is in, we
recommend that you connect the light to the cigarette adapter. Once the light is plugged into a constant
power source via the vehicle charger, cycle the power button on the unit until the light strobes. The unit
will then be in constant strobe mode.
