This twelve volt magnetic spotlight and floodlight configuration is unique to Larson Electronics LLC and the Larson Electronics range. This
"reverse pistol grip" frame includes an aluminum bracket system that maintains beam position after placement. Combined with a 6 inch
lamp and 3.25 inch magnetic base, this light configuration is counterbalanced for easy handheld use. More importantly, users can easily
move from handheld use to vehicle or equipment mounting, since the handle system does not preclude simultaneous use of the magnetic
mounting base.
Unlike post mounted lights, which require drilling into the vehicle’s frame and creating exposure to weather, these lights can be attached
anywhere there is a ferrous metal surface. In fact, this powerful magnetic base, with 100 pounds of gripping power, is strong enough to
keep the light affixed to the vehicle while in motion.
The handle frame is corrosion proof and is built with aircraft grade aluminum, polished in a vibratory deburring process. The solid
polypropylene handle will never soil, decompose or require replacement. The chrome dipped light housing effectively dissipates heat while
providing weather protection for the toggle switch, lamp and lamp wiring harness. The unique design of the light housing enables
continuous use in the most inclement weather conditions without risk of corrosion or damage.
The magnetic spotlight is ideal for semi-permanent mounting on ferrous metal surfaces. The magnetic base is 3.25 inches in diameter and
the 100 pounds of gripping power is commonly used to mount this spotlight and floodlight choice to vehicles. In fact, this powerful
magnetic base is strong enough to keep the light affixed to the vehicle even while in motion. Unlike permanent post mounted lights,
where drilling can cause corrosion and weatherproofing issues, users can mount the light when needed and store the light when not in
use.
This light represents the ultimate in versatility, both in semi-permanent mounting and in handheld use. The Hand Magnetic Light is ideal
for users who continuously move the light into different mounted positions.
Standard configuration includes a 16-foot straight 2X16 AWG zip cord and SAFCO Valox cigarette lighter adapter with 10 AMP fuse.
