Weight: 4 pounds
This 12 volt magnetic spotlight contains a sealed, all-glass 50 watt lamp that provides 1750 Lux of illumination at 25 feet (by comparison, a
4 D-cell Mag-Lite produces 300 lux at 25 feet). This lamp is rated at 8 million candlepower within a Larson Electronics spotlight. The lens
of this spotlight is covered with a “blue eye” style coating. This coating is designed to reduce the glare on outer edges of the spotlight's
beam caused by fog, haze, rain, snow, etc. Combined with a focusing shield over the bulb, this blue coating improves the spotlight's
projected beam visibility in the worst weather. Like the entire all-glass range of Larson Electronics spotlights, this lamp was designed and
built for aircraft landing lights. As a result, this spotlight not only produces a bright beam, but it also is resistant to vibration and weather
related damage. This spotlight is most commonly purchased for bad weather use, because this spotlight delivers the most light to the
target regardless of atmospheric, moisture related interference. The life of this lamp is rated at 150 hours within a Larson Electronics
spotlight with magnetic base. This Larson Electronics spotlight is equipped with a 3.25 inch diameter magnet with 100 pounds of magnetic
grip. Replacements lamps are readily available through Larson Electronics and www.larsonelectronics.com.
