General safety instructions
– Do not use the device in environments containing explosive gases or vapour.
– Protect the device against contamination and damage, and make sure it is
stored in a dry location.
– The structure of the device must not be modified in any way.
– Please ensure compliance with the safety regulations set out by local and national
authorities with regard to the correct and proper use of the device.
Notice about batteries Batteries must not be exposed to excessive sources of heat such
as sunshine, fire or similar. Only rechargeable batteries may be charged. It is unlawful
to dispose of used batteries along with common household waste. You are obligated to
dispose of old batteries (free of charge) at a public collection point, a business which will

Warranty
Guarantor, object covered by the guarantee and guarantee period Guarantor is
UMAREX GmbH & Co. KG, Donnerfeld 2, 59757 Arnsberg, Germany. The latter hereby
grants you as buyer a guarantee of 4 years on your Laserliner brand device for all mate-
rial or manufacturing defects. This guarantee shall apply from the date of purchase. This
guarantee does not cover accessories or batteries for the device in question. The guaran-
tee period is not extended automatically to cover replacement devices. This guarantee is
independent of the consumers‘ statutory rights, in particular guarantee rights, which are
not restricted by this guarantee.
Territorial scope This guarantee is valid worldwide.
Essential information for the exercise of the guarantee In the event of a guarantee
claim, please contact the guarantor. The device is to be sent to the guarantor together
with the original purchase receipt.
Content of the guarantee After the device has been sent to the guarantor and the
original purchase receipt has been submitted, the guarantor shall, at his sole discretion,
either repair or replace the defective device. In the event that an identical device should
no longer be in stock for purposes of replacement, the device shall be replaced by an
equivalent device. The guarantor cannot accept any further claims. The guarantee does
not cover shipping costs. Defects caused by improper handling or improper use or impro-
per storage are not covered by the guarantee. In addition, natural wear and tear as well
as minor defects through which the device is not restricted in its function are not covered
by the guarantee. If any parties not authorised by us carry out any work on the device,
this shall invalidate the guarantee.
If included in the scope of delivery, the devices must be sent back in their original
case. The devices must otherwise be packaged such as to ensure that no damage
is incurred during transportation. The warranty does not cover transport damage.
