2. Descripon/operaon
Your LASERLUCHS® LED IR-Illuminator is equipped with a
high-power LED of the latest generaon. This enables you to
obtain an outstanding image on your night vision scope even
when there are condions of complete darkness and even
when the distances involved are considerable.
The range which can be obtained using the LASERLUCHS® LED
IR-Illuminator depends on the following factors:
• the photocathode sensivity of the image intensier tube
• the photosensivity of the camera module
• the quality of the opcal systems used
• focussing system of the LED IR-Illuminator
• the weather condions (e.g. mist, rain or snow)
Depending on the Illuminators focussing system, there
may be small dierences in brightness in the outside area
of the lustre cone. The technical principles involved result
in an opmum illuminaon of an object being achieved at
greater distances, while the round and uniform illuminaon
becomes slightly angular at smaller distances.
