Dimmer:

The LASERLUCHS® dimmer makes possible innite adjust-

ment of the output brightness from 0 – 100%. This means

that the intensity of illuminaon can be adapted to the

user’s requirements:

for example, so as to respond to dierent ambient levels of

brightness and to improve the contrast of the night vision

scope. The dimmer has been designed in such a way that

it can be operated comfortably in one hand. An intelligent

control system prevents the baery from discharging in the

event of its being operated unintenonally, e.g. during trans-

portaon. The use of glass bre opcs and two-tone LED as

a visual display provides informaon on the operang con-

dion of the IR laser Illuminator and prevents unintenonal

illuminaon of the user.

Preparaon of the IR laser Illuminator

1) Unscrew the switch of the laser Illuminator and remove

the baery and spacer tube. The spacer tube is fastened

with silicone, but it may be released by being pulled out

using one nger. Any silicone residues must be comple-

tely removed before screwing down.

2) Place the baery type CR123A into the dimmer, by rst

inserng the baery with the minus pole toward the

spring. Pull the baery with your ngers towards the

spring and install the second one.

3) Screw down into the Illuminator unl there is closure

with the rubber seal.
