Inhalation: May cause headaches, dizziness, nausea vomiting and perhaps loss of consciousness.
Vapors may be irritating to eyes, nose and throat.
Skin: May cause irritation of skin and/or systemic effects by absorption.
Ingestion: May result in vomiting; aspiration of vomitus must be avoided as liquid contact with
the lungs can result in chemical pneumonitis and pulmonary edema/hemorrhage. Have patient
drink large amounts of water; contact a physician.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES:
Eyes: Immediately flush with clean water for 15 minutes while holding eyelids open; consult a
physician.
Inhalation: If overcome by mist or vapor, remove from exposure immediately; call a physician.
If breathing is stopped or irregular, start resuscitation, administer oxygen.
Skin: Remove any contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and warm water. Vegetable
or mineral oil can remove dry material.
Ingestion: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING even though vomiting may occur. If vomiting occurs,
keep head below hips to prevent aspiration of liquid into the lungs. Get immediate
medical attention.
