CAUTION – RISK OF SHOCK –
Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main
fusebox before starting and during the installation.
3) Make wire connections. Reference chart below for correct con-
nections and wire accordingly.
4) Carefully push wire connections back into outlet box making
sure all connections remain secure.
5) Secure the backpan[4] to the outlet box[2] with the supplied
mounting screws[5] make sure wires do not get pinched.
6) Slide the glass frame[6] over backpan[4] and secure in place
by using screws[7].
7) Slide glass[8] into glass frame[6] and line up mounting holes.
8) Secure glass[8] to glass frame[6] using decorative screw[9]
and decorative nut[10].
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING FIXTURE OUTDOORS
AND/OR IN WET LOCATIONS.
9) Mountingsurfaceshouldbeclean,dry,atand1/4”largerthat
the backpan[4] on all sides. Any gaps between the mounting
surface and backpan[4]exceeding3/16”shouldbecorrected
as required.
10) Withsiliconecaulk,caulkcompletelyaroundwheretheback-
pan[4] meets the wall surface to prevent water from seeping
into outlet box[2]. The bottom of the backpan[4] should be left
un-caulked.
11) Placetheglassframe[6] over the backpan and secure with the
screws provided.
12) Withsiliconecaulk,caulkthetoponlyoftheglassframe[6]
where it meets the wall surface. The sides and bottom need no
caulking.

Thisxtureisintendedforinstallationinaccordancewiththe
NationalElectricalCode(NEC)andalllocalcodespecications.
If you are not familiar with code requirements, installation by a
certiedelectricianisrecommended.
CLEANING:
Always be certain that electric current is turned off before cleaning.
Only a damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may
damagethenish.

INSTALLATION:
• Read and understand all instructions and illustrations com-
pletely before proceeding with assembly and installation of
xture.
• Ifyouhaveanydoubtsabouthowtoinstallthisxture,orifthe
xturefailstooperatecompletely,pleasecontactaqualied
electrician.
• All parts must be used as indicated in the instructions. Do not
substitute any parts, leave parts out, or use any parts that are
wornorbroken.Failuretoobeythisinstructioncouldinvalidate
theULlisting,C.S.A.certication,and/orETLlistingofthis
xture.
• Fixtureistobeconnectedtoasinglebranchcircuit.
• Mountingsurfaceshouldbeclean,dry,atand1/4”largerthan
thexturehousingsurface.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Attachthemountingplate[1] to the outlet box[2] with supplied
screws[3]. NOTE: The mounting strap must be mounted with
thexturemountingangesontheside.
2) Groundinginstructions:(SeeIllus.AorB).
A) Onxtureswheremountingstrapisprovidedwithahole
andtworaiseddimples.Wrapgroundwirefromoutletbox
around green ground screw, and thread into hole.
B) Onxtureswhereacuppedwasherisprovided.Attach
ground wire from outlet box under cupped washer and
green ground screw, and thread into mounting strap.
Ifxtureisprovidedwithgroundwire.Connectxtureground
wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector. (Not pro-
vided.) After following the above steps. Never connect ground
wire to black or white power supply wires.
