5.1.1 Connection

1. Clamp the BLACK and RED clips of the battery clamps cable on the Negative

(-) and Positive (+) terminals of the vehicle battery respectively.

2. Connect the other end of the battery clamps cable to the circular connector

located on the top of the scanner.

Note: The circular plug of the battery clamps cable is keyed and will only t one

way. If you have problems connecting the circular plug to the circular connector,

rotate the plug 180

and try again.

3. The scanner automatically powers up and navigates to the Job menu screen.

5.1.2 Battery Health Test

It is used to analyze the health status of the automobile battery, calculate the

actual cold starting ability of the battery, judge the aging degree of the battery,

and provide reliable analysis basis for the test and maintenance of the battery.

1. After connection is properly done, go to [BTS] and select [Battery Health

Test].
