The device automatically enters Live View mode when powered on. It is also at the very top of the menu hierarchy, thus pressing the ESC many times (depending on which menu you’re on) brings you to the Live View mode.

Multi-screen: showing multiple screens on the monitor simultaneously. Auto-switch: the screen is auto switched to the next one. And you must set the dwell time for each screen on the configuration menu before enabling the auto-switch. Menu>Configuration>Live View>Dwell Time.

In the live view mode, once a motion detection event takes place, the device can analyze it and perform some response actions to handle it. Enabling motion detection function can trigger certain channels to start recording, or trigger full screen monitoring, audio warning, notify the surveillance center and so on.
