THE RECEIVER FEATURES THE PILOT TONE FUNCTION
The pilot tone protects against interference due to RF signals from other units. The transmitter adds an inaudible
signal, known as the pilot tone, to the transmitted signal. The receiver detects and evaluates the pilot tone, and is
thus able to identify the signal of the matching transmitter and mute all others.
