Mounting procedure WUS

Before any mounting operation of the tire, make sure that the wheel unit has been correctly
mounted and tightened to the rim. If the WUS is moving more than 10mm in the drop center
under transverse stress about 6 kg, it is mandatory to adjust cable tension in an other hook,
or replace the cable.
2. Aucun produit de lubrification ou autre solide, ne doit venir obstruer partiellement ou
complètement le trou de prise de pression du capteur. Dans tous les cas, éviter la
lubrification directe du WUS.
No lubrication product or any other matter may partially or completely cover the pressure
measuring hole of the wheel unit. Always avoid direct lubrication onto the WUS.
Le pneumatique ne doit jamais mettre le WUS sous contrainte mécanique, lors de son
montage. Seul un glissement bref du pneumatique sur le WUS est acceptable.
Only light sliding constraints are acceptable. Tire mustn't stress the WUS during mounting
process.
3.2. MONTAGE DU PNEUMATIQUE - MOUNTING OF THE TIRE.
Introduire le premier flanc en évitant toute contrainte sur le WUS. Le premier flanc est
entièrement sur la jante après une rotation de 180° environ.
Assurez vous que le premier flanc a passé l'obstacle constitué par le WUS dans le drop
center avant d'engager le montage du deuxième flanc.
Introduce the first side of the tire on the rim avoiding stress on WUS, the first flank jumps
into the rim after a wheel rotation about 180°. Be sure that the first side wall of the tire has
passed over the WUS before starting to introduce the second side wall of
the tire.
Le deuxième flanc est monté en prenant soin de ne pas toucher le WUS avec l'outil de
montage

NOTA : LDL recommande l'usage d'un témoin externe identifiant la présence du WUS
insérer le tube bleu sur le nez de valve et replacer le bouchon.
NOTA : LDL recommends an external WUS identification witness after tire mounting, plug the
blue tube onto the valve and screw the cap.
