Place a letter block in the driver's seat to hear the name of the letter, the animal on the block and the letter sound. Raise the ladder to send the blocks tumbling down, then lower it to autoload another learning block for tumble-down fun.

608300 manual.indd 4 Unlock the packaging locks: Rotate the packaging locks 90 degrees counterclockwise. Pull out the packaging locks. GETTING STARTED BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Make sure the unit is turned Off. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and open the battery cover. Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery. 5. Install 2 new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries into the battery box as illustrated.
608300 manual.indd 5 BATTERY NOTICE • • • • • • • • • • • • Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance. Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended. Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable, or new and used batteries. Do not use damaged batteries. Insert batteries with the correct polarity. Do not short-circuit the battery terminals. Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.

Music Button Press the Music button for exciting rescue music. 3. Number Dial Rotate the Number Dial to set the pretend water pressure feature and to listen to fun number-related sounds and music. 4. Hose Dial Spin the Hose Dial to hear realistic water sounds or to activate a counting activity.
608300 manual.indd 7 5. Ladder Place Letter Blocks in the truck’s storage area on the back of the truck. Lower the Ladder to automatically load a block onto the Ladder. Raise the Ladder to watch it tumble down! Raising and lowering the Ladder also plays fire-truck-themed sounds and music. * To avoid injuries, do not insert hands, feet or other body parts into the holes on the ladder or between the ladder and the fire truck body. Adult supervision is recommended. 6.

Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time. 4. Do not drop the unit on a hard surface and do not expose the unit to excess moisture.
