4.2. Data Description
Data displayed in the Raw Detections dialog box allow the user to precisely define the desired
detection parameters (View menu > Raw Detections).

An object crossing the beam of the module is detected and measured. It is qualified by its distance,
segment position, and amplitude. The quantity of light reflected back to the module by the object
generates the amplitude. The bigger the reflection, the higher the amplitude will be.
The amplitude is expressed in counts. A count is the unit value of the used ADC in the receiver.
The fractional of counts is caused by the accumulation to get more precision.
