INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Rated 15A, 125V
Cord range: 18/3 SV to 12/3 SJ-SH; .250" to .585" diameter
WARNING: IMPROPER WIRING OF ANY ELECTRICAL DEVICE CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
THESE WIRING DEVICES SHOULD BE INSTALLED ONLY BY AN ELECTRICIAN OR OTHER QUALIFIED
PERSON. MUST BE INSTALLED AND USED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ELECTRICAL CODES.
IMPORTANT: Turn circuit breaker OFF or remove fuse(s) and test that power is off.
NOTICE: Use this device with copper or copperclad wire only.
1. Loosen cord clamp screws and remove front section.
2. Thread wire through bushing in cord clamp. If wire is too large for bushing, remove and discard.
3. WIRE PREPARATION: Remove jacket on 7/8". Strip each wire 5/16" and twist strands. DO NOT TIN
CONDUCTORS.
4. WIRE TERMINATION: Insert green (grounding) wire under green, black (hot) wire under brass, white (neutral) wire
under silver screw clamps and tighten securely. No loose strands.
5. ASSEMBLY: Slide cover up cord and over wire body. Tighten assembly screws, securely attaching body to cover.
Tighten cord clamp screws securely.

IMPORTANT : Ouvrir le disjoncteur ou enlever le(s) fusible(s), puis vérifier que l’alimentation est bien
coupée.
AVIS : Utilisez ce dispositif avec des fils en cuivre ou cuivrés uniquement.
1. Desserrer les vis du collier du cordon et retirer la section avant.
2. Enfiler le fil dans le manchon à l’intérieur du collier du cordon. Si le fil est trop gros pour le manchon, retirer le
manchon et le jeter.
